Chain-Reduction Auger Unit Information
|
|
The Lowe CL and XL-Series units are based on the Classic Chain-Reduction Series that
has made Lowe the industry standard for decades. These auger drives feature pre-stressed, fully
adjustable reduction drives and the strongest connecting links available. This is a design
that will take the stresses of tough duty and thousands of pounds of twist force for years of dependable
service. They are not limited to "lighter duty" applications.

Performance
The performance of your auger unit depends on the auxiliary
hydraulic flow of your machine. You basically want to have the power
to meet your digging requirements, keep your speed around 60 rpm, and
remain in your budget. The following speed and power charts should help
you decide which unit is best for you.
